About Me

My name is Joe Mack and I am an enterprise technology transformation consultant and architect-level technical resource, focused on Microsoft technologies around cloud, full-stack development, DevOps and collaboration. I have led over 50 teams, ranging in size from 3 to over 150, in both military and civilian organizations, in peacetime and forward deployed scenarios. I have also architected, led and implemented technology transformation projects for companies of all sizes, from household names to small shops and everything in between.

I am a lifelong learner with a desire to amass as much knowledge as possible, particularly in areas where I have both interest and aptitude, such as building and leading high-performing teams. It's what I have done and will continue to do. I still apply lessons, both good and bad, that I learned at my very first job (McDonald's), and every subsequent job, to increase the performance of every organization I come in contact with, whether they are paying me or not.

I have never truly failed. I have either succeeded or I have learned.

These experiences, and my willingness to share them, have made me a sought after speaker at conferences and private corporate events alike. For a list of proposed talks and information about booking me, please see my Speaking Page.

I spend my days consulting with Accenture and my nights/weekends either playing sports, watching sports or pulling at the strings of various technology pursuits. Current interests include APIs, full-stack JavaScript frameworks and event-based development.
